La ceremonia de premiación se realizará el próximo 5 de diciembre.

The Game Awards 2014 será el evento que reemplace a los Video Game Awards y entregará galardones a los mejores videojuegos del año en una ceremonia a realizarse en Las Vegas el 5 de diciembre con transmisión en vivo a través de diferentes canales de streaming. Los nominados a cada categoría fueron elegidos por 28 publicaciones de prensa especializada de diferentes regiones del mundo y presentados a través de un streaming encabezado por el productor Geoff Keighley.
